Some time has passed and we’ve come quite a bit further in our planning.
We have:
- Set the date: 5th September 2009
- Booked a reception venue: Kampen Bydelshus
- Surveyed a park for the actual ceremony: Kampen Park
- Had dinner with all of our parents to tell them our plans
- Agreed on a color theme for invitations/table decorations/flowers
- Started researching food and drinks
- Tested red wines with some friends, luckily including one who had the presence of mind to write down the conclusion. (nobody remembered the next day, testing 9 wines with good glasses of each tends to have that result…)
- Decided who we want to invite
- Gathered nearly all the addresses we need to send the invitations.
- Designed the invitations
- Bought nearly all the materials needed to make the invitations.
- Started negotiations with some friends of a cousin for photo/video documentation of the wedding.
- Bought a wedding dress:D (Psst: girls click here If you don’t know the password, just ask me;)

We have also asked our 5 best friends to take part in the wedding, so we have a judge to perform the ceremony, a Best Man, a Toastmaster, a Maid of Honor and a Second Maid who have all agreed:)

Only the rest of the planning remains. For example; I’ve been meaning to gather up a list of remaining tasks;)
